George Stavrinos (1948-1990), a graphic artist and a leading illustrator of fashion, was a magnetic individual whose work was seen in publications like The New York Times, New York Magazine, Blue Boy and many more. His fashion drawings, created for Barney’s and Bergdorf Goodman, were met with adoration from New York society. In addition to his fashion work, George drew the beautiful men in his life. This work was often used for large club events and tentpole parties in the NY gay scene.
